Do you need an accountability partner???

The title says it all...

Everyone could use someone who pushes them when they don't feel like it. Someone who nudges your shoulder when you are reaching for that brownie or when you are trying to decide if you should skip today's workout. But let's face the reality, most of us don't have someone around us, unfortunately, who can push us. If anything, most people around are 'pulling' you back to the ways you are trying to change. You take two steps forward, using all your willpower you have and right then they have a pizza party....and the last thing you want is to be a party pooper! So...what to do???

Finding someone with similar goals and similar desires to work at it can be very helpful, but failing at that can be much more frustrating. I say, if you can't find someone close to you in real life...then hey, that's what the computer is for! Find a 'partner' you can chat with weekly, if not daily, share your goals, do weigh-ins, and if they are local, even meet up with them once you get comfortable with them. There is so many ways to get your motivation started and keep it going over the long run...and you never know, you might even make some unforgettable bff's :)

So, what are you waiting for? Go at it, with the anonymity on the internet, you have got nothing to loose. Try and find someone you can share you journey with.

...or even make this post a place to return to for weekly weigh-ins or whatever else. Possibilities are endless. Don't let anything be an excuse for not being physically (and mentally) the best you can be.
